Site and Newsletter Registration
Site & Newsletter Registration
It seems that there may be some confusion about the Site and Newsletter Registration. Below is a guide to each.
Site Registration
Site Registration allows users to post comments on the site.
To register, click the Register button on the top of the side panel. You will be given a form to fill in. I would suggest, for the sake of security of the site, that you choose a username that is NOT the one you will be known by on the site.
Once you submit the form you will receive an email with a link to confirm your registration and to allow you to set a password.
Click the link in the email and you will get a page that may have a password already filled in for you. Delete all of it an enter a password of your own. I would suggest that it should be at least 10 characters and contain at least a mixture of capital and lowercase letters and either some numbers and / or some symbols. Please do not use just words that are in any dictionary.
Once you have chosen your password, click the Reset Password button to apply the change.
Newsletter Registration
The newsletter registration has 3 options.
- Newsletter, which may be an occasional email that is sent to all subscribers.
- Blog Updates – Immediate, which will send you an email automatically whenever a new blog post is made.
- Blog Updates – Daily, which will send you an email once a day if there are any new blog posts in the previous 24 hours.
To subscribe to any of these, fill out the form on the sidebar, select the option(s) that you wish to subscribe to and click the Subscribe button. You will get an email with a link to confirm your subscription. Please click the link to start your subscription.
Every email that you receive will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking this will take you to a page where you can select which options you want to be subscribed to or unsubscribed from. The change will happen immediately.
Notes
I hope this is all the information that any of you will need. However, if you run into any problems, please send me an email describing the issue and preferably with a contact phone number so that I can walk you through any problems you may be having. To contact me, click the email link at the bottom of our Contact Us page.
